XKYLAR (pronounced “Skylar”) is an LA-based artist, producer, writer, DJ, and visual artist blending electroclash, indie dance, and pop into high-energy music built for the club. Pairing every release with striking, self-directed visuals, XKYLAR delivers immersive and unapologetic tracks designed to thrive in loud, physical spaces. Known for her creative direction as much as her sound, XKYLAR has brought bold visuals to life for her own projects as well as artists including Calvin Harris, Doechii, Cardi B, Kim Petras, Remi Wolf, and Vampire Weekend — operating as both the architect behind the stage and the artist at its center.

Her debut EP, WHY IS NOBODY DANCING?, arrived on June 26^th and was led by focus tracks “SPEAKERS” and “PARTIES IN LA.” Inspired by the decline of nightlife and club culture, the project explores a growing inability to fully let go, connect, and lose yourself on the dance floor. Following the arc of a night out, the EP ultimately becomes a celebration of freedom, confidence, and finding community through music.
